Tianwei Chu successfully defended his thesis with ‘excellent’ rating
Our PhD Student CHU Tianwei has successfully defended his thesis, titled “nvestigation of fire behaviour in modern building compartments considering window glass breakage and active ventilation” on 26 Feb 2025. Many thanks to his external examiners: Prof Bart Merci (Ghent University), and Prof Chuangang Fan (Central South University). Both examiners are very satisfied on Tianwei’s PhD work, and recommended an ‘Excellent’ rating of his thesis to BoE Chair Prof Hongxing Yang.
